Welcome to The Powerhouse Project ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service ("Policy") outlines the services we provide, how we protect your data, and your rights regarding the use, correction, and deletion of your personal information.

1. Services
The Powerhouse Project provides programmes designed to empower and support women in sports media, sports coaching, and sports leadership roles. We partner with organisations such as Google Pixel, Nike, The FA, and others to offer hands-on experience, mentorship, and training for individuals looking to advance in these areas. Our services include workshops, mentorship programmes, and other related activities.
During this programme we are partnering with Google, The FA, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, ITV Sport and 90 MIN (each a “Partner”, together the “Partners”).
2. Duration of Agreement
Participation in any of our programmes is subject to specific terms outlined at the time of application or enrolment. Unless otherwise specified, participation agreements last for the duration of the specific programme and are subject to these Terms of Service.
3. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
By participating in The Powerhouse Project programmes:
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information shared with you during the programme, including, but not limited to, proprietary insights, methodologies, and media-related tools.
You will retain ownership of all intellectual property rights (including moral rights) in and to any content created during the programme, including interviews and social media content. As a condition of participation, You grant The Powerhouse Project, Google and our Partners a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish (directly or indirectly), distribute (directly or indirectly), publicly perform, create a derivative work from, and publicly display (directly or indirectly) the content in connection with advertising and promotion via communication to public or other groups, including, but not limited to, the right to make screenshots, animations and clips available for promotional purposes. Any content created by You during the programme which contains content, materials or persons from The Powerhouse Project, Google or our Partners can only be used by You in the context of and for the duration of the programme. You may not use this content outside the scope of the programme without prior written permission from Google.
Your name, image, likeness, location, social handles, and any and all photo, audio, video and other materials included in your application or created during the programme may be used to promote the programme and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes, including being posted on The Powerhouse Project, Google Pixel and our Partners’ websites, apps, blogs, social media sites, or any other of its marketing and promotional materials.
You agree not to include, as part of your application or any content created during the programme anything that infringes any third-party proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral rights or any other rights, including without limitation, copyright (other than as owed by You), trademarks, names or third party logos (other than those owned or licensed to You) patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity or confidentiality obligations. Any content created by You must be suitable for publication (i.e. may not be obscene or indecent). Any content must not contain obscene or pornographic material; cannot be sexually explicit or suggest, profane or unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group. Any content cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) and it should not feature any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message. The content cannot be offensive, endorse any form or hate or hate group; cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Google or its products, or other people, products or companies. The content cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill with which Google wishes to associate, may not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity. The content may not in any other way violate any applicable laws or regulations. The content cannot contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses. Any content containing any such forementioned prohibited content and/or otherwise deemed by The Powerhouse Project, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate will result in disqualification from the programme.
4. Keeping Your Data Secure
We take your privacy and data security seriously. All personal information collected through our website and programmes is kept secure, and we take steps to ensure it is protected from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
Personal information is stored securely and only accessed by authorised personnel.
We use encryption technologies and regularly review our security measures to ensure they meet industry standards.
Data will be shared with our Partners, but only for purposes directly related to your participation in our programmes.
